David Fisher (filmmaker) : ウィキペディア英語版 | David Fisher (filmmaker) David Fisher (born in Petah Tiqva, Israel, October 14, 1956) is an Israeli documentary film director, producer, lecturer and mentor to up and coming filmmakers. Fisher is known for his family trilogy which consists of the critically acclaimed films: Love Inventory, Mostar Round-Trip and Six Million and One as well as his tenure (1999-2008) as Director General of (The New Fund for Cinema and Television (NFCT) ). ==Personal life== David Fisher was born to Joseph Fischer (born in Vișeu de Sus, Romania) and Mali (born in Vashkivtsi, Ukraine), both are Holocaust survivors. His four siblings: Estee, Gideon, Ronel and Amnon are featured prominently in his films Love Inventory and Six Million and One.〔() "The family of Ronel fisher is Revealed in a new film", by Maariv〕 Amnon contributed the soundtrack for his films Love Inventory, Six Million and One and Street Shadows. Fisher is married to (Lili ), together they have three children: Yael, Daniele and Yuval, who has been the subject of Fisher's film Mostar Round-Trip (2011), wherein Fisher follows Yuval during his studies in the (international United World College (UWC) ) in Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
